The Tozzi Nord TN535 is known as one of the top generating wind turbine performers in its class. The Tozzi’s TN535 rare combination of special features such as its large rotor diameter measuring 13.2m, with active pitch-controlled blades, a gearless direct-drive permanent magnet generator, and an active yaw-controlled nacelle which is mounted on top of its huge 24m tubular steel tower, makes this 10kW wind turbine one of the top performers in its class and able to produce up to 52,250kwH @ an average wind speed of 7m/sec per annum with a life expectancy of up to 35 years if refurbished halfway through this time. Return on investment can be achieved in less than four years.
A brand new ABB inverter will be fitted and a full yearly service is undertaken prior to sale. The turbine can be viewed in operation. Priced to sell quickly and any sensible offer will be considered, hence early inspections are recommended. Sold on a ‘First Come – First Served basis. Speed and decisiveness will be an advantage to genuine buyers.
This turbine was maintained throughout its short operation until last year when it was switched off due to an inverter fault. The reason for sale is because the turbine is so poorly sited that it only produced approx. 12,000kwH per annum. This was also the reason why the previous owner did not want to invest in replacing the inverter and pay for a full yearly service.
Full-Service History available – A brand new ABB Inverter will be fitted as well as a full-year service given before dismantling and collection by the buyer. Due to its young age, low hours of operation and fully serviced condition means that no refurbishing works are necessary and a trouble-free installation is to be expected.
