Why can I not contact the seller directly?

You can contact the seller directly but not in the first instance. Once certain pre-conditions are fulfilled and an introduction between you and the seller

has been made, you can contact the seller directly from then onward.

MWPS has NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements) and Introducer Agreements with most sellers, whose equipment is advertised on our website in place. Under such agreements, MWPS is bound and obliged to undertake a vetting process in which every interested buyer or prospect will need to be evaluated first and the buyer's project reviewed and successfully verified for suitability before an introduction to the sellers can be made. A prospect who is interested in the purchase of any of the equipment for sale on our website will have to sign and provide the following documents first to start off the selling process or to arrange inspections and thereafter can enter into direct negotiations with the seller:

⊂ Project Evaluation Form (Online Form - Basic Project Information)

⊂ NDA & NCA (Confidentiality,  Non-Disclosure and Non-Circumvent Agreement)

⊂ LOI (Letter of Intent)

Once these have been received, reviewed and successfully declared as satisfactory by us, an introduction to the seller will be made and thereafter, the buyer is entitled to contact and communicate with the seller directly from there onward. However, in all cases, MWPS will stay engaged in all communications between the seller and buyer during the sales process and will act as an intermediary. Buyers are advised to let MWPS negotiate any terms and conditions on behalf of you as this has proofed to be the most convenient and effective method to achieve a satisfactory agreement and outcome for both buyers and sellers.

The reason for this somewhat in-depth process is first to make sure that an interested buyer can not solicit a seller directly before an introduction by us has been made with the ill-intend to bypass MWPS as the seller's sales agent and the hope to achieve a better sales price. The second main reason for this is that we will only engage with 'genuine' inquiries and that the inquiring prospect has a genuine project for development in place. The majority of inquiries we receive on a daily basis are mainly premature, for information only and therefore not genuine in respect of the intended purchase.

The selling process of Wind Turbine Equipment is a very time-intensive process in which many questions need to be answered and clarified. MWPS nor most of our sellers have the resources, time and means to engage in unnecessary communications or to arrange costly inspections for inquiries that are unlikely to result in a purchase. In many cases, enquirers do not even have land for their project allocated yet, often no approved building permission, no PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), or even their finance in place at the time of their inquiry. Such conditions indicate that the enquirer is not realistically in the position to purchase and therefore would only waste unnecessary time for all parties involved. In such cases, we always advise the enquirer to come back to us when these necessary preconditions are in place and when they are in the position to proceed with a purchase
